Strawberry Gift Box

    Hello Friend,

I know it's been awhile, How have you been? Life and Work have been keeping me out of the studio and creating as much, but I do find these little gem projects that I just need to share with you :) This one I featured in a Bailey's and Tea Saturday LIVE on April.16.2022 as a bonus creation, so many wanted the how to, that I thought I would blog about it.These would be perfect for a garden party or summer is finaly here party LOL. This Sweet Strawberry set will be retiring in May 2022, so if you have it in your collection, you may want to hang on to it a bit longer.  Jeanie Stark is the orginal creator, and I tweeked it a bit from hers.

    Here are the dimensions:

Garden Green Card Stock 3'x5 1/2', score at 3/4' on all 4 sides, this will create your slide in box base.

Designer Series Paper (DSP) 1 5/16'x 3 15/16' to cover the boxes bottom.

Belly Band- Garden Green Card Stock 7 1/4' x 4 1/8', score at 3/4',2 3/8',3 1/8', 4 3/4' and 5 1/2'.

DSP Strip for front 5/8' x 4.

Top and Inside Flap DSP 1 1/2' x 4, you will need two pieces.

Decorate how you wish, Lindt chocolate hearts I picked up at Valentine's day, but I shared a little tip in that video to buy onsale and freeze your chocolate for the project you may need it for, stays fresh and you aren't trying to find in the stores, chocolate hearts in the middle of summer.Cause we know that will be impossible!

You will knotch out your box corner tabs, this will give a cleaner edge
when you fold up to attach.

Apply Tear n Tape to all corners, to adhere them in place.

Remove the Tear n Tape liner and secure the shorter tab edges
to the longer sides, lining up the score lines.

It will look like this when all sides are secure.

On the 3/4' scored edge, apply Tear n Tape, this will help to secure
to the box base backing.

Remove the Tear n Tape liner and line up in the scored
area with your flap sticking up.

Once pressed down firmly to secure it will look like this.

And the finished box ready for your embellishments.

Hope you have fun creating these Adorable box favors, and please share in the comments or TAG ME on your socials or post to mine, I would love to see what options you come up with.

    Til Next Time, Paper Hugs,
Shanna
